Whole house remodeling, planned as one project
When the kitchen, the baths and the layout all need work, it is cheaper and faster to plan it once. One design, one schedule, one crew.
Scheduled in phases after design, typically several months

When a whole house remodel makes sense
If you are planning more than two rooms in the next few years, doing them together saves on demo, permits, plumbing and electrical, and you only live through construction once.
Room by room, with one plan
We start with a full walk through of the structure, then design each room so the whole house reads as one home. The Jory Hill remodel in Salem took a traditional house to something timeless without losing its bones.
Included
- Full assessment of structure and systems
- One design for every room
- Phased construction so you can stay when possible
- Interior design for finishes throughout
- Two year warranty on our work

Common questions
How much does a remodel cost?
It depends on the size and the level. As a guide: a cosmetic kitchen or bath usually runs $20,000 to $40,000, a pull and replace bath $30,000 to $80,000, a pull and replace kitchen $50,000 to $90,000, and a custom reconstruction $80,000 to $150,000 and up. Additions and ADUs start around $150,000. See the cost guides for detail.
How long does a remodel take?
Most bathrooms take 3 to 6 weeks of construction and most kitchens 4 to 8 weeks. Additions and whole house remodels take longer and are scheduled after design and permitting.
Can we live at home during construction?
Usually, yes. We install dust protection and HEPA air scrubbers, clean up daily and keep the schedule online so you always know what is next.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes, every project comes with a two year warranty, and we are still here if you need us after that. We have been in Salem since 1961.
