What a C&R kitchen includes
Every kitchen starts with how you cook and who is in the room. Our designers plan the layout, storage and lighting, an interior designer helps you choose cabinets, counters, tile and fixtures, and our own lead carpenter runs the build. You can review the plan in 3D before anything is ordered.
Older Salem homes are our specialty
A lot of our kitchens are in homes built before 1950. On the 1909 McMinnville kitchen we leveled floors that had settled for 115 years before a single cabinet went in, and worked within the city's historic landmark rules. If your house has quirks, we have probably seen them.
Living at home during the remodel
Most clients stay in their homes. We set up dust protection and HEPA air scrubbers, keep a published schedule you can check online, and clean up every day.

A punch list, a close-out visit from your consultant, and a two year warranty. We have been here since 1961 and plan to stay.

Common questions
How much does a remodel cost?
It depends on the size and the level. As a guide: a cosmetic kitchen or bath usually runs $20,000 to $40,000, a pull and replace bath $30,000 to $80,000, a pull and replace kitchen $50,000 to $90,000, and a custom reconstruction $80,000 to $150,000 and up. How long does a remodel take?
Most bathrooms take 3 to 6 weeks of construction and most kitchens 4 to 8 weeks. Additions and whole house remodels take longer and are scheduled after design and permitting.
Can we live at home during construction?
Usually, yes. We install dust protection and HEPA air scrubbers, clean up daily and keep the schedule online so you always know what is next.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes, every project comes with a two year warranty, and we are still here if you need us after that. We have been in Salem since 1961.
