How a C&R remodel works
Successful remodeling starts with a great plan. This is the same four phase process we use on every project, from a powder room to a whole house.
Phase one: Explore
What will my investment be?
- Free in-home consultation to talk through ideas and possibilities, with a ballpark budget.
- Sign a feasibility agreement with a $100 service fee.
- Review a budget-specific, personalized proposal with detailed pricing.
Phase two: Design
What will my remodeled space look like?
- Sign a planning agreement, generally 5% of the projected budget, credited toward your contract.
- Our designer and estimator develop a design that fits your home, often in 3D.
- Our interior designers help you select colors, materials and products.
- Review the contract, final plans and specifications.
Phase three: Remodel
When can we start?
- Pre-construction meeting with your consultant and project craftsman, and a projected start date.
- Your schedule, photos and notes on a private project web page.
- Dust protection and HEPA air scrubbers installed.
- A punch list at the close of construction, with every item addressed.
Phase four: Enjoy
Time to enjoy your new space.
- A close-out visit from your consultant.
- A two year warranty, and a team that will still be here.
