Bathroom remodeling in Salem, from powder rooms to primary suites
Curbless showers, tub to shower conversions, double vanities and full primary suites. Designed to work today and still work when getting around is harder.
3 to 6 weeks of construction for most bathrooms

Tub to shower conversions
The most common request we get. We take out the tub and build a walk in or curbless shower, usually with a bench, a niche and grab bars that look like they belong there.
Primary suites
When the bathroom is too small, we borrow space from a closet or bedroom, or add on. The Northeast Suite and the Expanding Horizons projects both started that way.
Historic baths
On the 1910 Salem bathroom we kept the clawfoot tub and the character of the house while replacing everything behind the walls. Old houses get handled with care.

Common questions
How much does a remodel cost?
It depends on the size and the level. As a guide: a cosmetic kitchen or bath usually runs $20,000 to $40,000, a pull and replace bath $30,000 to $80,000, a pull and replace kitchen $50,000 to $90,000, and a custom reconstruction $80,000 to $150,000 and up. Additions and ADUs start around $150,000. See the cost guides for detail.
How long does a remodel take?
Most bathrooms take 3 to 6 weeks of construction and most kitchens 4 to 8 weeks. Additions and whole house remodels take longer and are scheduled after design and permitting.
Can we live at home during construction?
Usually, yes. We install dust protection and HEPA air scrubbers, clean up daily and keep the schedule online so you always know what is next.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes, every project comes with a two year warranty, and we are still here if you need us after that. We have been in Salem since 1961.
